Coloured Floor Plans Revit

Anyone know what the issue here.

Coloured floor plans revit. Hi guys im pretty new to revit mep and was wondering how to change the colour of certain components like containment baskets or fire alarm symbols when producing floor plan views so they stand out on sheets. Tile the windows in revit so you can see both views select the crop region in the floor plan view switch to the section or elevation view the crop region is still selected start the rotate command in the section or elevation view. I know it has something to do with vg settings but am having trouble editing. If you do not need an associated plan view when creating a new level just uncheck the make plan view tick box on the options bar.
